Arts in Southwark Southwark is bursting with arts and cultural activities. So whether you want to make the most of your free time, learn something new or find an activity for the weekend we hope there will be something for you in our borough.
If you like the theatre then check out the Blue Elephant Theatre in Camberwell, Theatre Peckham and Shakespeare's Globe to name just a few.
If art is more your thing then take a stroll around the Dulwich Picture Gallery, the South London Gallery or Tate Modern.
The innovative Art on the Cart project showcases art from the Southwark Art Collection, the Cuming Collection and work by local artists on our refuse collection vehicles.
Information about arts projects for young people, from youth performance and music media to visual arts and crafts, can also be found here.
Southwark also has a colourful history, some great museums and events throughout the year for all the family.
