Contemporary craft project
The Mana exhibition was also a culmination of a craft project involving a small group of young women from Southwark. The workshops ran from November 2005 to February 2006 and participants learnt a variety of jewellery making skills. They designed and produced pieces inspired by the historic collection at the museum.
The workshops were supported by Sure Start Plus and funded by Neighbourhood Renewal also know as the Southwark Alliance.
