Cycle routes in Southwark
Enjoy a network of cycle routes along Southwark’s streets away from the traffic.
Southwark Spine
The Southwark Spine cycle route offers a safe and easy cycle route for all abilities. The route was funded by us and goes from the north to the south of Southwark.
The route is segregated in areas of heavy traffic, with different signals to prioritise cyclists at junctions. On streets with moderate traffic, the road layout, including parking, has been redesigned to make way for cyclists and walkers.
