Anyone who lives, works or studies in Southwark can ask a question of up to 50 words at council assembly or cabinet meetings. It can be addressed to the leader of the council, a cabinet member, or the chair of a committee.

Anyone who lives, works or studies in Southwark can present a petition to a local multi-ward forum, cabinet or council assembly.
Make a deputation
Up to six people can form a group to make a presentation on a topic and ask a question in person to the council assembly or cabinet. This is called a deputation.
Reporting on meetings
We welcome reporting on council meetings and the use of social media by anyone who attends.
