Southwark Works provides personal and confidential support for Southwark residents looking for a job or a career change.
You'll find:
- free career and employment support

- help with CV writing, application forms and interview techniques
- training courses, apprenticeships, volunteer positions and internships across diverse industry sectors
- online resources to improve skill sets
- referrals to money management and benefit maximisation organisations
- help for businesses looking to recruit local talent
Use:
- the National Career Service to search and apply for jobs across a range of industries across the UK
- Money Helper for employment advice, whether you’re working full time, part time, self-employed, or facing redundancy
- Citizens Advice Southwark for employment, debt, benefit or immigration advice
- Jobcentre Plus for advice on work, training and benefits
If you're struggling with your mental health because of work or being unemployed, contact the Southwark Wellbeing Hub.
They provide information and support to Southwark residents who are worried about their wellbeing.
