Help with hearing and or eyesight loss

The adult sensory team may be able to offer you support if you're over 18 years old, live in Southwark and any of the following apply:

• we've received your Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI) and you're registered with us
• you have a long-term, significant, non-correctable eye condition which affects your independence, safety and functioning
• you have a long-term hearing loss (moderate or profound) which affects your independence, safety and functioning

We may carry out a sensory need assessment and provide you with:

• equipment
• minor adaptations
• lighting assessments
• advice 
• vision rehabilitation like white cane training

We do not provide hearing aids or magnifying glasses. 

Speak to your GP who can refer you to a hearing aid service.
