The adult sensory team may be able to offer you support if you're over 18 years old, live in Southwark and any of the following apply:
- we've received your Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI) and you're registered with us
- you have a long-term, significant, non-correctable eye condition which affects your independence, safety and functioning
- you have a long-term hearing loss (moderate or profound) which affects your independence, safety and functioning
We may carry out a sensory need assessment and provide you with:
- equipment
- minor adaptations
- lighting assessments
- advice
- vision rehabilitation like white cane training
We do not provide hearing aids or magnifying glasses.
Speak to your GP who can refer you to a hearing aid service.
