Extra support if you receive benefits

Residents aged 66 years and older can get the most support by applying for Pension Credit. 

We work with community partners to help vulnerable pension-aged residents to access all the benefits they can receive.           

Our Local Support Team helps disabled, vulnerable, or older residents facing financial hardship. 

We can check that you and your household are getting all the welfare benefits you're entitled to and help you make a claim. 

We also offer:

• Southwark Emergency Support Scheme for residents who need help dealing with a crisis or emergency
• Hardship Fund for residents in debt with household bills
