If you run a business that offers beauty treatments, massage, alternative therapies or tanning facilities, you may need a special treatments licence.

Apply for a special treatment licence
You must then put a public notice of your application in the premises window. It must stay there for a full 28 days from when you submit your application.

Fees
You will be charged a fee for the initial application and then a separate compliance fee if your license is approved.
When you apply, you can pay the total fee upfront or choose to pay the application fee first and the compliance fee after your license is approved.

Email licensing@southwark.gov.uk if you would like a copy of your special treatments licence. The fee for ordering a duplicate licence is £14.
