Thriving High Streets Fund
Southwark boasts some of London’s most diverse and exciting town centres, and we’re committed to keeping it that way.
Our vision is for Southwark’s high streets to be dynamic, diverse centres that are great places to visit, spend time at and enjoy.
Over the past few years we’ve been running various initiatives to support our high streets, such as our High Streets Challenge grant.
'Thriving town centres and high streets' is one of the key pillars of Southwark 2030 and is a key priority for the Council.
The Thriving High Streets Fund supported projects to keep our high streets thriving.
It offered grants from £1,000 to £25,000 for businesses and voluntary sector groups. Applications over £25,000 could have been considered under special circumstances.
Grants awarded
Round 2 closed for applications on 3 March 2024 and grants have been awarded to 10 brilliant organisations.
