Before you start

Read our pavement guidance notes (PDF 477.14 KB) before you apply.

You’ll also need to upload these documents in pdf, jpg or png format when you apply online:

• public liability insurance certificate to a value of £5,000,000
• your company bank details on letter headed paper or other evidence of your bank details
• sketch or layout showing the width of the area that you wish to use and the placement of your tables and chairs
• a form of photo ID you can upload to create your account
• proof of your address and the address of the premises
• evidence of completion of ACT eLearning

• £500 for a new application

• £350 to renew previous licence

Licences are valid for 12 months.
