Temporary traffic order

You need a temporary traffic order if:

• a road needs to be closed for road works or development works
• emergency works are being carried out using a road closure

Send your completed application to the address on the form.

You must apply for a temporary traffic order 12 weeks before the works begins.

Fees

• £2,587 (including admin fees and advertising costs)

• £2,511 for emergency road closure costs 

If you cancel a licence, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 30% of the licence fee.
