Free childcare for all 3 to 4-year-olds

You can use the 15 hours free childcare between 6am and 8pm for up to 10 hours a day.

You can choose any approved childcare provider in Southwark. 

These can be:

• day nurseries

• preschools

• childminders

• independent schools

• nursery classes in primary schools

If you want your child to go to a provider outside of Southwark, your chosen provider will claim the cost of your free place from their local authority.
