Fostering information sessions
We hold regular fostering information meetings. Find out what to expect and how to attend.
We regularly hold in-person, drop-in information sessions to tell you about the process and the benefits of becoming a foster carer.
During the session, you'll:
- hear how fostering helps young people
- talk to an experienced member of support staff
- learn what's needed to become a foster carer from our social workers
- get an insight into what it's like to be a Southwark Council foster carer
- find foster carers may attend some sessions where you will be able to ask questions
