Children and family centres

The centres are open to all children and parents. Many services are free, such as access to midwives and health visitors.

You'll have to pay for childcare services, but you can get help to do this through:

• free early learning for 3 to 4-year olds
• other government help for those who are eligible

You may also have to pay a small charge for some activities like toddler groups and baby massage.
