Where to get maternity support

Children and Family Centres support parents and carers from pregnancy right through to when your child goes into reception class.

Family Early Help aims to support families so that problems do not get worse and need intervention, for example by social services. 

Home-Start Southwark provide emotional and practical support to families with difficulties managing parenting. 

Parents and Communities Together (PACT) run groups in Walworth and Camberwell to support better child health and development, including: 

• Espacio Mama for Spanish speaking mothers and birthing people, including support through LAWRS, and health visitor support
• Black Maternal Voices, a safe space for black mothers and birthing people to share experiences, advocate for change and collaborate  

Future Men provides courses for young, new and expectant dads.  

The Southwark Women’s Forum is a monthly support group by and for women experiencing mental health challenges.
