We are continuing work on the Cox’s Walk footbridge. By the end of October we are working to:
- finish refurbishing the abutments
- finish refurbishing the parapets
- finish waterproofing and resurfacing the deck
- replace the public lighting that leads to the footbridge
Pedestrians walking in Sydenham Woods must follow the signposts of the diversion route away from the construction site. This is for your health and safety.
This footpath will remain temporarily closed until the work has finished. The bridge will be re-opened in November 2024.
