Dear tenant / leaseholder,
Re: Proposed rents and charges for 2025/26 – have your say
The council is committed to taking action to make sure your council homes and estates are decent, safe and well-maintained. To this end, we are planning over £250 million worth of investment in the next three years, including better repairs, better homes, better estates, and better customer services.
Work to improve your council homes and estates is mostly paid for through rents and charges, and we are now writing to you about the rents and charges for next year (2025-26). Please find more details of the proposed rents and charges here: https://forms.office.com/e/qZLAMUXQgX including the chance to give your feedback.
You are also invited to an online Zoom meeting next Tuesday, 10 December at 6pm where you can hear more and have the chance to ask questions online using the Zoom Question and Answer facility. Please register in advance of the meeting using the link provided below in order to receive your Zoom joining details:

If you have specific questions about the proposed rents and charges for 2025/26, please send your question by email to resident.participation@southwark.gov.uk and a council officer will provide you with a response. Please include your name, address, contact email address or phone number so we can write to you or contact you by phone.
We will try and answer as many questions as possible during the session, but if we are unable to answer all of them, we will respond in person if you send your name and contact details by email to resident.participation@southwark.gov.uk
If you have any personal service specific issues such as repairs or requesting an update on an outstanding repair to your council home, please email repairs@southwark.gov.uk or contact the customer contact centre on 0800 952 4444 for help and assistance.
Yours sincerely,
