Care leaver exemption

Care leavers aged 18 to 24 and living in Southwark do not have to pay Council Tax (you're exempt).

The 100% discount will be added to your bill on 1 April each year. You do not need to do anything. 

It lasts until:

• your 25th birthday

• or until you're no longer named on your Council Tax bill
