Changes to your household

Tell us if you’re staying at the property but there’s been a change to your household.

This may be because someone has:

• moved in and needs to be added to your Council Tax bill
• moved out and needs removing from the bill

You must let us know within 21 days.

If the change is more than 4 weeks away you can tell us nearer the time. 

We will not be able to update your account until then.

There's a different process to let us know if:

• you’re moving home
• a tenancy has changed (landlords and managing agents) 
• the Council Tax payer has passed away
• you live alone and want to apply for a sole occupier discount
