A new name for Victory Community Park

Local people have asked the council to consider changing the park's name. A new name could strengthen its links to the area and community.

A public consultation has started and is open until 11 May 2025. 

On our consultation page you can:

• register to join us in the park on Saturday 26 April 2025 from 12 noon to 4pm to discuss your ideas for a new name for Victory Community Park
• learn about the history of Victory Community Park
• complete our survey and tell us if you want to change the name of the park, or if you prefer it to stay the same
• give us your ideas for a new name
• vote on a shortlist of suggestions if the community is keen to change the name
