Home library service
A free service for people who cannot access the library in person. Get books, CDs and DVDs straight to your door.
The home library service is a monthly, free service.
Library staff can deliver your items straight to your door if you’re not able to visit a library in person. We offer this service to:
- children and adults with a disability
- carers
- older people
- people who cannot access the library independently
The home library service allows you to borrow:
- fiction and non-fiction
- books in large print
- audio books
- children’s books and DVDs
- books in other languages
- CDs and DVDs
- local history publications
- information specific to older people and people with disabilities
Home library service users do not pay a hire charge and are not charged late fees.
