The course is for anyone interested in writing a memoir.
It's for learners who want to write about their lives and those who are out of the habit of writing regularly.
What you'll learn
This memoir course is designed for learners who would like to explore the art of writing about their own lives.
Using a combination of practical writing activities, readings, tutor feedback and examination of issues such as memory and truth, structure and setting you will develop your ideas into short pieces of life writing.
Participants will experiment with different writing techniques and share their work in a supportive atmosphere.
How the course is taught
The course has practical writing exercises, class discussion and tutor-led talks.
A small amount of homework will be set between sessions.
