What to do if you need to make a school application after the deadline has passed.
All late applications received after 31 October 2024 (except those regarded as exceptional circumstances) will not be considered for a school place until after the initial offer of places on 3 March 2025.
If you're making a late application between 1 November 2024 and 19 August 2025, you must complete and submit an online application using eAdmissions.
If you make a late application after 19 August 2025 for a primary or secondary school place, you must apply for an ‘in-year’ place for your child. The online application system will no longer be available.
Check your online application carefully before submitting it. You will not be able to make any changes after it has been submitted.
All late applicants will receive their child’s offer of a school place by email.
We can accept a late application as ‘on time’ if there are exceptional circumstances.

Only late applications submitted between 1 November 2024 and 12 December 2024 may be considered under the exceptional circumstances category.
Email schools.admissions@southwark.gov.uk to submit a late application under exceptional circumstances, giving your reasons and including any supporting documents so that they can be considered.
