The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) is an adventure and volunteering programme for people aged between 14 and 24.

Award levels

The award has 3 levels, bronze, silver and gold, with a range of activities in each one.

You complete activities in:

• volunteering
• physical
• skills
• expedition
• residential (Gold Award only)

The benefits include:

• you'll help people, get fitter and learn new skills
• the award is highly valued by employers, colleges and universities

There's always a need for adult volunteers to support the programme.

We support the programme in schools and centres across Southwark. We also offer an open award centre for young people who are not enrolled elsewhere, open every Monday from 6pm to 8pm.
