Clothing grants are for children aged 11 years old, moving from primary school to a secondary state or voluntary aided school in Southwark.

The grant is a £45 voucher. You can use the voucher at a few shops but not online.
Please note that you can apply for your child’s clothing grant for a school uniform from 3 March 2025.
To be entitled to a clothing grant, you must receive one of the following benefits:
You must also submit a copy of a letter showing that you receive one of these benefits.
For Child Benefit you’ll need a letter and a bank statement. If you’re a refugee or asylum seeker, you’ll need a letter from the relevant authority confirming entitlement.
All evidence must show the same home address as stated on the clothing grant application and be dated within the last six months.
