Chakula Presents: Roots & Rhythm

In partnership with Chocolate Kizomba, we will be facilitating a dance class and a learning circle that delves into the history and culture of Kizomba and Zouk music. Whether you are a passionate dancer, a music enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates trying something new, expect to experience live music, dancing and enjoyment during this Pride season at the Africa Centre.

This is a free event! This space is primarily for Black and African LGBTQI+ people. Please be mindful when booking your ticket.

Chocolate Kizomba promotes culture, community and create a safe place for those who had been captivated by the beautiful sounds of Kizomba and wanted to learn how to dance.

About the Africa Centre
Based in Southwark, the Africa Centre offers and promotes authentic African cultural experiences through education, art, social interaction, thought leadership and entrepreneurship .
