Our programme provides housing-related support to help vulnerable residents live independently.
The supporting people programme provides housing-related support to help vulnerable residents live independently at home and within the community.
The programme is for those who:
- are older with support needs
- are elderly and frail
- have mental health problems
- have learning disabilities
- have a physical or sensory disability
- are single and homeless with support needs
- are offenders or are at risk of offending
- are young and at risk and care leavers
- are women at risk of domestic violence
- are living with HIV
- are homeless families with support needs
The programme will only pay for housing-related support that helps people live independently.
It does not pay for care services.
How to get housing-related support
You need to be referred by one of the following:
- social worker
- GP
- voluntary organisations
- resident service officer
