Adjusting to the new normal - April 2020
Like the rest of the world, April was a month of adapting the project and working practices to the COVID-19 ‘new normal’. While the team at Safe Steps were working on a COVID tracker app for care homes Manchester, the teams in Southwark and Lambeth have focused on improving our understanding of the data and costs around falls prevention.
A meeting with Snook service design in mid-April allowed us to focus on how these changes will impact the services which will eventually use the app. Developing our thinking for how the app can be used as a remote tool as well as for face to face assessments is a challenge we’re looking forward to solving!
