Become a British citizen and book your citizenship ceremony.
To celebrate your final step to becoming a British citizen, you must attend a citizenship ceremony. You will swear an oath to the Crown and make a pledge to uphold UK values and laws.
Anyone over 18 accepted to become a British citizen must attend a ceremony. Children are not required to attend.
Once you get British citizenship, you will get an invitation from the Home Office. It will ask you to book your citizenship ceremony. Email us at registrars@southwark.gov.uk providing your:
