CCTV traffic cameras
Information on CCTV traffic cameras in Southwark.
We have CCTV traffic safety cameras at locations across Southwark in a bid to improve road safety.
The cameras record vehicles which ignore road signs such as:
- no entry signs
- one-way streets
- banned turns
Most of these cameras operate 24 hours every day. We issue moving traffic penalties (PCNs) after the contravention is reviewed by our CCTV officers. If we put up a new camera we will issue warning notices to vehicles for the first 2 weeks.
