A vehicle may be abandoned if:
- it has not been moved recently
- it appears neglected or dirty
- its tyres are deflated
We aim to inspect it within 24 hours of receiving the report.
Bikes or cycle parts
We can only remove cycles and parts from Southwark council estates, streets and pavements maintained by the Southwark cleaning team.
Once reported:
- we’ll put a notice on it
- the owner will have 7 days to remove it
- if it's not collected by then we’ll remove it within 3 days
- we keep hold of bikes (not parts) for 1 month
- after 1 month we’ll get rid of the bike permanently
