Autumn leaf collection

For 6 weeks in autumn, we increase the size of our cleaning team to clear leaves from roads and pavements.

We have a schedule showing which streets we’ll clear and when:

Only the streets that have a significant amount of trees are on the schedule. We’ll sweep roads that are not included on the schedule every 5 weeks.

During autumn, we cannot keep streets completely free of leaves. A road that is cleared of leaves in the morning can be entirely covered in leaves again within hours.
