Dog poo

If you're a dog owner you’re responsible for cleaning up after your dog. 

It's illegal to leave dog mess in a public place. You could be fined up to £1,000.

Not only is dog poo unpleasant, it is dangerous to public health, particularly young children. It can cause serious illness. You must get rid of it safely by:

• putting it in a bag 
• throwing it in a bin

You can use a public dog bin, litter bin or domestic waste bin.
