Road safety for schools

We’re part of the Transport for London (TfL) Travel for life accreditation scheme to encourage road safety at schools.

Through the scheme: 

• schools record travel and safety issues
• this helps us to understand how children are getting to and from school and what issues there are
• road safety projects can then be tailored to these issues

Each school receives a plaque and certificate to display and can use the logo on their website and letterheads. Training is free and there's support to run projects such as Youth Travel Ambassadors (YTA) and Junior Travel Ambassadors (JTA).
