Transport noise

We have no direct control over noise nuisance from vehicles driving on roads.

Residents may be able to get sound insulation or compensation if:

• a new road is built 

• there are changes to existing roads which significantly affect traffic levels

Residents who are affected are usually notified through the development consent process.
