The preliminary flood risk assessment provides a high-level summary of significant flood risk. It describes the likelihood and consequences of past and future flooding.

Strategic flood risk assessment (SFRA)
Our strategic flood risk assessment evaluates the risk of flooding from all sources, now and in the future. It takes account of climate change and how development affects the risk of flooding.
