Planning checklists - approval (discharge) of a planning condition

There are often conditions attached to planning permissions that need further details to be submitted and approved us at certain stages of the development. This process is called ‘discharge of conditions’.

There are often conditions attached to planning permissions that need further details to be submitted and approved us at certain stages of the development. This process is called ‘discharge of conditions’.

If you have planning permission, the decision notice will state the conditions that must be met before development can start. It will also say what details must be submitted to meet them. If you start work without meeting conditions, you risk enforcement action. You also risk invalidating your permission.

Use this application type to request a discharge of a planning condition.
