Dog microchipping

It’s the law to get your dog microchipped and registered by the time they’re 8 weeks old.

If you do not your dog microchipped within 21 days if ordered to, you could be fined up to £500.

Some organisations offer free microchipping services, like the Dogs Trust and Battersea.

Make sure you keep your details up to date on the microchip database you're registered with.

You can find all databases on GOV.UK. Contact them to make any changes.
