Health kiosks
You can get a free five-minute health check using one of our digital health kiosks at a library or leisure centre.
You can measure your:
- height
- weight
- blood pressure
- heart rate
- alcohol dependency risk
- stress and anxiety risk
- smoking risk status
- body mass index (BM) to tell if you’re a healthy weight for your height
You don’t need to be registered with a library or leisure centre.
You do need:
- an email address
- to be 16 or older
How health checks can help you
Having health checks can help you to:
- learn about your own health to stay healthier for longer
- get lifestyle advice tailored to you and find out where to get local support
- reduce your chance of developing long-term health conditions like cardiovascular disease (also known as heart and circulatory disease), diabetes and dementia
- track changes in your health by using the kiosks regularly
How to get your free health check at one of our health kiosks
There are six health kiosks in Southwark. You can use the health kiosk map to locate your nearest one.
The self-service kiosks are available at:
- Camberwell Library: 48 Camberwell Green, SE5 7AL
- Canada Water Library: 21 Surrey Quays Road, SE16 7AR
- Dulwich Library: 368 Lordship Lane, SE22 8NB
- Una Marson Library: 62 Thurlow Street, SE17 2GN
- The Castle Leisure Centre: 2 St Gabriel Walk, SE1 6FG
- Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre: 10 Melon Road, SE15 5QN
You don’t need to book - turn up and use them for free. Check the library and leisure centre websites for opening times.
