You can help prevent fox activity in your area by:
- removing food they could easily get to
- keeping rubbish in closed wheelie bins
- not leaving bags of rubbish outside
- removing piles of garden waste
- filling gaps under garden sheds (a fox can squeeze under a 10cm gap)
- keeping bird food in bird food dispensers
- protecting small pets like rabbits in sturdy hutches (chicken wire is not strong enough to keep foxes out, use strong welded mesh instead)
- tidying up an overgrown garden
- repairing damaged air bricks (do not block them up as houses need ventilation)
