Summer digital workshops
Who is the course for
This course is suitable for people with no or few digital skills who wish to learn how to get online and safely use Microsoft 365 and other online apps.
Course location
Thomas Calton Centre, Alpha Street, SE15 4NX.
What you’ll learn
- how to navigate the internet and develop a digital identity safely
- the fundamentals of online transactions and communications
- practical skills in using common Microsoft apps to handle information and content
How the course is taught
The course is taught using modelling videos as well as through practical activities.
Materials you’ll need
You may want to bring a notebook to make some notes. Laptops will be provided in the classroom but you can also use your personal laptop.
After the course
You can progress onto a more advanced Digital Functional Skills course after you complete our introductory course.
