If you’ve applied for a school place using your eAdmissions account within the past 3 years, select ‘Returning visitors’ on the homepage and sign in. It’s a good idea to check your details are all still correct. Select ‘My Account’ to make any changes.
If you can see your child's name on your homepage, select ‘Start new application’ below the child's name. This will only be available for children whose date of birth falls within a relevant age range.
If your child’s name is not displayed, select ‘Start application’. You'll then be directed to the ‘Child details’ page to enter your child’s details.
Select your child’s current school or nursery from the dropdown list or type it in, if relevant.
Select the school you want for your first choice from the dropdown list. You can apply for up to 6 places. Select them in your order of preference. Select ‘Add school’ to add further schools to your application.
When you’ve finished, select ‘Confirm selection’.
If you’ve selected the 'social/medical' or 'looked after/previously looked after/internationally adopted previously looked after child' boxes, you’ll need to upload supporting documents. Find out more about the types of evidence we accept in this guide.
Some schools need to collect information that is not included on the admission application using a ‘supplementary information form’ (SIF). For example, a Catholic school may require evidence of church attendance. You need to complete and return them directly to the school and not via eAdmissions.
Submit the completed application by 11.59pm on the closing date.
