Every year, tens of thousands of people from around the world travel to the UK to seek asylum. They might be escaping persecution, fleeing conflict, or reuniting with family members that have also made the difficult decision to leave their home countries.
After arriving in the UK they are placed in temporary accommodation while awaiting a decision from the Home Office on their asylum application. This exhibition celebrates the unique stories of twelve of these people, currently residing in temporary accommodation across the UK.
