Description

Inspired by Southwark’s fairs of old, we are bringing together local businesses, groups and charities to showcase the brilliant work they do for the community, for free!
Our events to date have shown us how important community is to Bankside – and that’s something that we want to celebrate at the Timber Square Fair. In our conversations with the community at the end of 2024 as part of Timber Square Phase II, it was clear that people want more places where they can learn new things, in different social spaces. At the Fair you can:
 Take part in free workshops and classes
 Share your thoughts on how we can bring life to the spaces we own
 See and hear more about our proposals for Timber Square

So, whether it’s a dance class, an arts and crafts workshop or a bike repair stall – you can find it at the Timber Square Fair. There will also be drinks, snacks and entertainment!
