Join the NIHR's Mental Health Implementation Network (MHIN)-led webinar to discuss a model of care originally developed for people with severe mental illness, which has been used effectively to support patients with alcohol dependence and high levels of alcohol-related hospital attendance.
The findings of two independent but collaborating mixed methods research projects in Hull, Greater Manchester and London will be presented. Both projects aimed to evaluate the implementation of the Alcohol Assertive Outreach Treatment (AAOT) model.
What to expect:
Hear from project leads about the evidence base for the model, along with the most important findings from each research site. Experts by experience who received support from AAOT teams will share their insights, and future directions of the project will be discussed. The webinar will end with a Q&A where all are encouraged to share their thoughts and reflections.
Expect interesting findings and insightful reflections about an innovative intervention aiming to support some of the most disadvantaged and marginalised members of society.
