Our monthly underground performance night is back for a subversive seasonal special featuring a glamorous, star-studded line-up of performers straight from London’s fringes. Hosted and curated as always by the all-singing, dancing, posing, crying, ‘piss’-drinking Midgitte Bardot, who’ll be joined by “deadpan, knife sharp” Sue Gives A Fuck (RuPaul's Drag Race UK Ambassador), musician and artist NiCKY, plus some very special guests. World class violinist Harriet Mackenzie returns to our programme for a special Christmas concert: come and be swept away by a breathtaking candlelit performance of Vivaldi’s legendary Four Seasons performed by Harriet in a new collaboration with her stellar cellist sister Alexandra Mackenzie and her collective, Surround Sound. Arments is a much loved institution in Walworth and was the recipient of the Southwark Blue Plaque in 2013 such is the love that people have for the Pie and Mash restaurant. This documentary made in 2014 by Michael Holland looks back on the restaurant from its beginning in 1914 to present day and features old footage and photographs and some lively interviews with customers some of whom have been visiting the restaurant for decades. The film also include footage of the centenary of the restaurant and the unveiling of the Southwark Blue Plaque.
