Come along for a fun family story session with an exciting craft at the end. Together we will discuss and celebrate different types of family, through the story Grandad’s Camper by Harry Woodgate.

Never read a book by a transgender author before? Or have one you’d love to share? This LGBT History Month, come to the library for a friendly discovery and sharing session on trans authors like Alison Rumfitt, Roz Kaveney, and Travis Alabanza.

Attendees at the South London Gallery will be invited to socialise and grab a drink together in the café afterwards. The tour is free but booking is essential. The tour will last for approximately one hour and there will be an opportunity afterwards for discussion of the exhibition in our café, South London Louie. About Martin Glover Martin, deaf BSL user, is an architect and art facilitator. Across the UK, he delivers tours and workshops on contemporary art, architecture, street art, and public art/sculpture. Arments is a much loved institution in Walworth and was the recipient of the Southwark Blue Plaque in 2013 such is the love that people have for the Pie and Mash restaurant. This documentary made in 2014 by Michael Holland looks back on the restaurant from its beginning in 1914 to present day and features old footage and photographs and some lively interviews with customers some of whom have been visiting the restaurant for decades. The film also include footage of the centenary of the restaurant and the unveiling of the Southwark Blue Plaque.
