Want to know what happens to your recycling and rubbish?

If you're a Southwark resident you can get behind the scenes at your local waste management facility. You can see:

• your recycling being sorted into different streams by machine and hand
• waste being turned into electricity for 48,000 homes and heat and hot water for 2,800 homes

If you wish to attend one of our tours, choose a date from the list and fill out the short online form to register. Places on the tours are limited.

School and group bookings

Tour dates for group visits can be arranged by completing the Southwark Group Tour online form.
