If you're not satisfied with your care charge
Your charge is based on the information you provided during your financial assessment.
We take into account your income, assets and savings. It tells us that you should be able to pay your charge.
If you think you’ve been charged too much
We can look at your assessment again to check we have your correct income and expenditure.
We may refer you to your social worker to see if you have any disability related expenses that we need to consider.
Contact us to tell us why you think the charge is wrong.
If you cannot afford to pay your care charge
Get in touch as soon as possible if you’re having difficulty paying.
In some cases we may ask for evidence of your income and expenditure to show financial hardship.
We’ll consider your case carefully and provide a written response within 10 working days of receiving all evidence.

If you're still not happy with our response you can make a complaint.
