No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)

You can apply for No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) support if you are a non-UK national and cannot apply for benefits, social housing or UK Government asylum support.

You can apply if you:

• are subject to UK Government immigration control 
• have been granted leave to remain but without recourse to public funds
• originally arrived in the UK on a visa and have since applied to remain in the UK
• are in the UK unlawfully, including if your visa has expired
• have a student visa
• have been refused asylum and your appeal rights are exhausted

Some European Economic Area (EEA) migrants can also apply.
